Live-Action Role-Playing (LARP) games and Murder Mystery games have taken China's youth by storm in recent years, with projected sales of 15.42 billion yuan ($2.4 billion) in 2021, attracting 9.41 million consumers according to MeiTuan's report.


As players, we've noticed that news about LARP games is scattered across various social media platforms, making it challenging for players to discover new releases, highly rated games, or games within their preferred genres. Additionally, since LARP games are popular social activities requiring 6 to 10 participants, it can be difficult to form teams quickly when there's a lack of LARP game enthusiasts available, often resulting in the need to form teams with strangers.


To address these industry pain points, we have developed "Wonder Stone," a mobile app designed specifically for LARP game players in China. Wonder Stone serves as a LARP game rating platform and gaming community, pioneering the industry in our approach.


As the Product Manager, my responsibilities included gathering and prioritizing product and user requirements, defining the product vision, designing user flows, and collaborating closely with developers and UX designers to ensure successful goal achievement through Scrum Management.


This app aims to revolutionize the LARP gaming landscape in China, providing players with a centralized platform to discover new games, connect with like-minded enthusiasts, and form teams more efficiently.
