Abby Bi is a video media designer and creative technologist whose work spans video media design, interactive installations, mixed reality, and immersive experience design. She recently received her MFA in Video Media Design from the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University, and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Film-Video and Theater from Pennsylvania State University.

Her practice focuses on designing visual systems for live performance and interactive environments. Working across film, theater, game design, 3D modeling, and real-time media, she explores how digital tools can shape atmosphere, narrative, and audience perception.

With a strong passion for interactive storytelling, her work investigates how audiences move through, respond to, and participate in constructed worlds, creating experiences that blur the boundaries between performer, spectator, space, and system.
